Nothing Compares to Knowing Him

“The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”

Matthew 6:22 ASV

“But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33 ASV

“And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”

1 Corinthians 12:26 NASB1995

““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”

Matthew 7:21-23 NASB1995

“If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him.”

1 Corinthians 8:2-3 NASB1995

“Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Colossians 1:25-27 NASB1995

If you’re a Christian for well being, circumstances will shake you. If you’re a Christian for His great Name, circumstances are a tool to manifest Him. The whole goal is what does He look like in your situation? Let your light shine before men!

Glory: any manifested, made seen, realized attribute of God. So any expression of who God is, is the glory of God revealed. The Christ in you is the hope of God being seen and known.
