Jack Hyles – Failing is not a disgrace unless you make it the last chapter of your book.

Matthew 12:43–45 (ESV) 43 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.”

John 20:19 (ESV) 19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

Penned Truth: Shame is a powerful motivator to cause us to run away.

Penned Truth: Shame is the Master Manipulator.

Psalm 23:3 (ESV) 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Penned Truth: Shame carries with it the sense that there is nothing one can do to purge its burdensome and toxic presence.

Penned Truth: Shame says I must accept it, endure it, absorb it, and deny it.

Finial Statement: Will you surrender to Jesus and see the end of shame!
