Summer Series Part 4  “Summer Miracles” 

Sunday, July 23, 2023 

Truth: 

Since the beginning of time and all throughout history, God has performed miracles; miracles of healing, parting the waters, transporting people from one place to another in a split second, raising the dead, casting out demons, defying natural circumstances, etc.  God is a God of Miracles! 

Psalms 46:1 NKJV God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 

Summer Story #1 – A Very Present Help  

Psalm 91 NLT 1-3 1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 

Psalm 91: 9-12 (NLT) 

If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. 

Vs. 14-16 

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” 

Summer Story #2 – Creative Miracle – Healing of My Kidneys 

Isaiah 53: 4-6 (NIV) Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 

1 Peter 2:24 (NLT) 24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross 
so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.  By his wounds you are healed. 

Truth: 

It is God’s will for you to be healed!  Jesus has already paid the price for our healing.  He took the beating in vain if we don’t believe and contend for our healing.
