Never break your heart by trying to be someone else. The truth is, you and I never will be. You will always be you and no one else. Let God take control of your life and let Him finish His work in you. So you can be the you He intended you to be.

On another note today, did you know that the Christians in the early Church which was called “The Way” have been described on many occasions as being incorrigibly happy, and fearless? All the while it seems they were facing troubles and suffering. Paul unleashes a life changing statement in 2 Corinthians 1, he says this; Our present difficulty is not our problem; it is His problem. It is in the hands of our God, who raises the dead.

Stop right now and declare this; Thank You Most High God! You are my God! You are the great I AM! This is no longer my problem or worry; it is YOURS!

This is a life that will stagger your coworkers, leaving them mystified as they watch you walk in peace. I’m moved by Paul’s words in Philippians 4:13, lets read it in the AMPC: “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am [b]self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”

You know, to be completely… no let me say it this way, we need to be exclusively dependent on Christ’s ability. If we will do that, well, that’s when we will walk in the real Christian life.
