Collision Part 1

Isaiah 55:8–9 (ESV) 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

• He said, “Tell my church don’t doubt Me, believe!”

Penned Truth: Too many believers know how to rationalize, conceptualize, and know how to tell somebody why something would not work, but one of the hardest things to get believers to do is believe.

• He said, “I have something planned that will unfold unexpectedly and it will create a wave of joy filled excitement.  Get ready for my suddenly.”

Isaiah 55:8-9 (GNT) 8 “My thoughts,” says the Lord, “are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours. 9 As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thoughts above yours.

Steven Furtick- “Resistance is always fiercest on the borderline of a breakthrough.”

• He said, “Tell my Church I am about to Rise Up on their behalf.”

Acts 2:2 (KJV 1900) 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 8:39 (NIV) 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.

Acts 9:3 (ESV) 3 Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him.

Acts 12:7 (AMP) 7 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared [beside him] and a light shone in the cell. The angel struck Peter’s side and awakened him, saying, “Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off his hands.

Acts 16:26 (ESV) 26 and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

• He said, “I am about to cause sudden reversals in order that you may be blessed.”

Paul A. Adefarasin- “Never lose your expectations. Past pain can cause you to reduce your expectations from high possibilities to next to nothing. Expectation is the substance of your faith. If you have no expectations, faith has nothing to work for. Faith is the substance of what you expect; the evidence that your expectations is a real thing.”

• He said, “The Holy Spirit is going to reawaken your heart to the things I promised you. And a spirit faith filled expectancy is going to come over you once again.”

Final Thoughts: We need to expect the unexpected in our own life. God does miracles more easily than we can do anything! God made the sun with less effort than we can flip a light switch! We have to lift an arm; He merely spoke a few words! We might be impressed that we can build a boat and float, but Jesus could walk on water! We can turn on a faucet and fill a glass with water, but Jesus turned water into wine! We bury the dead, but Jesus raises the dead! Nothing is too difficult for God! Expect the unexpected collision with your suddenly.
