Penned Truth: Aufgabe (mission) begins in the heart of God and is revealed by the Holy Spirit.

The 3R’s
• Restore: Restoring fallen broken people
Galatians 6:1 (AMPC) 6 Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness.
Psalm 34:18 (ESV) 18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Lost: Morally, emotionally and spiritually, lost to the faith walk and unable to find their way back, lost to shame, lacking self-confidence, feeling unappreciated or misunderstood, obscured from view, or overlooked, and those without Jesus as their Savior.
Un-churched: People not connected to the Church—More specifically, individuals who do not attend Church yet identify as born-again Christians.
De-churched: Once attended church, but something happened to cause them to disconnect.
Resolve: Resolving conflict
Matthew 5:9 (ESV) “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
Penned Truth: Biblically, a peacemaker is someone who reconciles people who were formerly in conflict.
• Refocus: Refocusing the church
Penned Truth: Jesus was people-centered, taught, healed, and died for people.
Matthew 28:19-20 (AMP) 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.
Penned Truth: The Bible encourages the church to focus on people by loving others, helping the needy, and sharing the gospel.

Final Statement: Today, it is up to you and me to capture and carry a vivid picture of the mission God has given the NEC Community of Faith. North Elevation Churches mission from God is important because it provides a clear purpose and direction for our faith community, allowing us to actively spread the Gospel, serve others, and ultimately bring glory to God. It also fosters profound unity within our community of faith by providing a shared goal to strive towards. By embracing our mission, NEC will fulfill its true purpose and leave a lasting impact on the world.
