Thanksgiving – The Truth

4 Points of Gratitude:

1.         A good and grateful attitude will bring God’s favor and blessings to your life.

2.         A good attitude contributes to good health and mental stability.

3.         It’s hard to have faith without a good attitude.

4.         A good and grateful attitude is a Christian witness, a negative attitude is not.

As St. Francis of Assisi said, “Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.”

Colossians 2:7 (NASB) having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

Colossians 4:2 (NASB) Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.

1 Corinthians 15:57 (NASB) but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:21 (NASB) For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Philippians 4:6 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT) 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
