Yes, we will be gathering as the Church at The Encounter this Sunday at 10:30 am. As NEC member Angela Martin said so well this morning; This is the time for the Church to be [the Church]. She went on to say; No weapon formed against [the Church] will prosper, Isaiah 54:17. And she continued with this truth; The gates of hell will not prevail!
Now is precisely the time for the Church to gather. To gather and lift high praise and worship to the King of kings and Lord of lords! Now is the time to exalt the ruler over everything in heaven and on earth. Now is our time to gather in the power of our numbers! Why? Because the hand of God is upon us in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now is our time to stand together and proclaim God’s Word together in prayer. It is our time to stand in faith and not fear as a Church.
Once again, now is our time to choose wisdom over worry, prayer over panic, and faith over fear. I will use wisdom and take precautions, but I will not stay home when the world needs the Church to gather in FAITH. I’m very excited about Part-2 of my series this Sunday; it is a world-changing word. A word that can help thrust all of us into our fresh new season God has promised us. I refuse to get stuck in transition, and I refuse to worry and fear.
We need to see this is our season to stand when the world needs us the most. I believe this is our season to gather Sunday and speak life-giving words from the Bible over the world. Stand in faith church! Not in fear or worry.
PS: The General Manager called me today, and Cinemark is not shutting down. They are following all precautions set forth by the Health Dept.
