Fifteen
Biblical Definition of Rest: Biblical rest encompasses physical cessation from work, such as the Sabbath observance, and a deeper spiritual peace found in God’s presence and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. It also involves contentment, freedom from worry, and being settled in God’s provision, providing rest for the body, soul, and mind from weariness and burdens.
Matt. 11:28-30 (NLT) 28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Psalm 37:7 (NKJV) 7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
My Thought: Spiritually, the number 15 can represent divine grace, mercy, and deliverance: Grace is represented by the number 5, and 15 represents grace 3 X (times). So, God, in His great mercy, has delivered us from where we’ve been to a new level of His divine grace and rest.
Biblical Definition of Divine Grace: In the Bible, divine grace is God’s unmerited favor, love, and empowerment freely given to humanity, enabling salvation, sanctification, and the strength to do God’s will. It’s not earned through works but received through faith in Jesus Christ. Grace gives believers the power to live a transformed life, overcome weakness, and receive forgiveness for sins, which reconciles them to God.
Eph. 2:8-9 (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Romans 4:16 (NLT) 16 So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.
James 4:6 (NLT) 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Prophets: I will restore the fortunes of Zion. I am bringing a complete reunion of My family in the power of My Spirit! My people will redeem the time of fifteen years, will accelerate thirty, and enjoy the fulfillment of promises that have been delayed these fifteen years.
Prophet: You Will Prosper Through the Prophetic Word of the Lord – The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and said, “Be careful what you speak. Your words hold immense power. Refuse to partner with the enemy by speaking your current circumstances; you must speak by faith the words that I have decreed. Though it may seem like nothing is changing, I am moving behind the scenes and have ordained a divine shift.
“Do not sabotage your prophetic promises by coming into agreement with your adversary and speaking words that contradict My purpose. Your tongue gives life or death to your destiny. There is a supernatural anointing coming on your mouth to shift the atmosphere of your life.”
The Lord communicated with me, saying, “This is what I am doing in this season: I am empowering My people to proclaim My word, causing the obstacles to shatter and fall away.”
Zechariah 4:7 AMP “What are you, O great mountain [of obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who will rebuild the temple] you will become a plain (insignificant)! And he will bring out the capstone [of the new temple] with loud shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!'”
Prophet: We must invoke the blessings and the promises of God every day. For how long? Until faith arises in us, once again, and we see the promises of God become greater than the circumstances we are facing. As we do, we shall become like one of those written about in the book of Hebrews—a person of faith who, without fail, sees every promise of God fulfilled. We have His promise: We shall see the goodness of God in the land of the living, in our lives, in our families, and in our nations.
North Elevation Church – this 15th year is our year of rest, divine grace, mercy, and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
